WINE TOUR IN TUSCANY&FLORENCE

DAY 1: ARRIVE FLORENCE AIRPORT

Meet your driver and travel 90 minutes to your Tuscan country House. The afternoon is free to wander the country side. Check-in is possible after 3pm
We have a late afternoon welcome drink and briefing arranged prior to the welcome dinner in the evening: you meet your Travel Director and fellow travelers and learn more about your tour.(D)

DAY 2: VERNACCIA & SIENA, SAN GIMIGNANO

A walking tour of the historic center of Siena. Free time for lunch and to wander the town or shop. In the afternoon Pasta making class, Wine tasting of the most ancient wine in Italy from the 13^th century: Vernaccia and Vin Santo and dine in a farm in San Gimignano (BD)

DAY 3: Brunello & pienza, MONTEPULCIANO

Starting with the home of Brunello and taste it in our vertical Brunello Class, then travel to the medieval town of Pienza to visit a local producer to sample Pecorino cheese and olive oil and a light lunch, enjoy free time in Pienza for photos, shopping, or additional wine tasting. Our final stop of the late afternoon is for a pizza tasting experience in Montepulciano area and of course a taste of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano! (BLD)

DAY 4 : CHIANTI – SUPERTUSCAN &FLORENCE

After breakfast, we will check out and go to end our day in Florence. During the day we will visit the Chianti Classico Country. We’ll stop for lunch in Radda and time to visit Casa Chianti Classico for an education into the varietals of the region. A final visit to a famous producer for a tasting of more Chianti and Supertuscan before Travel back to Florence to our new elegant four star hotel. Dinner will be on your own, feel free to ask your Tour Director for recommendations for a typical Tuscan meal in Firenze.

DAY 5: FLORENCE REINASSANCE EXPERIENCE

Start the day with a walking guided tour of Florence and its wine windows “Buchette del Vino”, taste the wine like 400 years ago and meanwhile seeing all of the famous sites like the Dome, Giotto’s bell tower, the Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce. Enjoy the city of Reinassance well known for fashion, leather and gold all around the world.  A full free afternoon to enjoy the marvels of Florence, to spend some time shopping, wine tasting, cafe-hopping or visit a museum. Farewell dinner to share all the memories with your new fellow friends(BD)

DAY 6: ARRIVEDERCI!

Transportation is provided from the hotel to accommodate early flights or early trains. Checkout by 10 am (B)
